All those people who have attend the New Mexico philmont trek please answer this question about Backpacking!!!?
I am going to philmont soon and I need to decide on either on external or internal frame Backpack. Any suggestions would be nice too.
Pack light. Just follow the guidelines that the BSA gives you. It is the experience of a lifetime. Small groups and low-impact practices make it a spiritual feast. Take lots of pictures and write notes/keep a journal. You will want to re-create it for friends/family/younger Scouts.
